Artwork & Proof Approval Policy

This Artwork & Proof Approval Policy applies to all products and services provided by The Tag Drop, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It governs the submission, review, approval, and production of all artwork, drawings, layouts, tag lists, proofs, and related files provided or approved by customers.

Because all products are custom-made, strict adherence to this policy is required before production begins.

1. Customer Responsibility for Artwork

Customers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of all submitted artwork, drawings, text, dimensions, quantities, materials, and specifications.
This includes, but is not limited to: spelling, grammar, numbering, symbols, layouts, sizing, hole placement, compliance markings, and orientation.
The Tag Drop, LLC does not verify technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, or engineering suitability unless expressly agreed to in writing.

2. Proofs & Pre-Production Review

When applicable, digital proofs are provided for customer review prior to production.
Proofs represent layout, content placement, and general appearance, not an exact physical match.
Colors displayed on screens may vary from final printed or engraved output due to material, lighting, calibration, and manufacturing processes.

3. Proof Approval & Authorization to Produce

Approval of a proof—whether by email, text message, written confirmation, or electronic approval—constitutes full authorization to proceed with production.
Once a proof is approved, the customer accepts all responsibility for the content and specifications shown.
Production will begin immediately after approval and payment confirmation.

4. Changes After Approval

Changes requested after proof approval are not guaranteed and may not be possible once production has started.
If changes are requested before production begins, additional fees and production delays may apply.
Once production has started, orders cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded except in cases of verified manufacturing defect.

5. File Quality & Print Readiness

Customers are responsible for supplying print-ready files unless design services are explicitly included.
The Tag Drop, LLC is not responsible for issues caused by low-resolution images, incorrect file formats, missing fonts, embedded errors, or incompatible artwork.
Minor adjustments made to improve printability do not constitute design approval or responsibility for content accuracy.

6. No Responsibility for Approved Errors

The Tag Drop, LLC is not responsible for errors or omissions in customer-approved artwork, including but not limited to spelling errors, incorrect dimensions, incorrect materials, or incorrect quantities.

Approved artwork errors do not qualify for refunds, reprints, replacements, or credits.

7. Compliance & Application Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for ensuring that artwork, tags, labels, or signage meet all applicable industry, safety, regulatory, or equipment requirements.
References to standards (e.g., UL, CSA, MIL-SPEC) describe material characteristics or manufacturing methods only and do not constitute certification unless explicitly stated in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Tag Drop, LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of approved artwork or proofs. Our total liability under any claim related to artwork or proof approval shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected product.

9. Entire Agreement

This Artwork & Proof Approval Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, this Policy shall govern matters related to artwork, proof approval, and production authorization.
