Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

At The Tag Drop, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we partner with trusted trade printers, manufacturers, and fulfillment vendors to produce and ship customer orders directly. This Shipping & Fulfillment Policy explains our production timelines, shipping processes, and the allocation of responsibility once an order enters production or transit.

1. Production Time

  • Most orders enter production within hours after final artwork approval and payment confirmation.
  • Typical production turnaround before shipment is 1–5 business days, depending on product type, specifications, vendor location, and order volume.
  • Production times are estimates only and may vary due to peak seasons, holidays, order complexity, material availability, vendor workload, equipment issues, or external supply chain factors.
  • Production does not begin until payment is received in full and artwork is approved in writing by the customer.
  • Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded, except where required by law.

2. Shipping Methods

  • Orders ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL freight, or other commercial carriers, depending on size, weight, destination, and vendor capabilities.
  • We currently ship within the United States only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Shipping methods, estimated delivery windows, and costs are calculated at checkout or during quoting.
  • Expedited shipping may be available on select products and vendors and is subject to additional fees and availability.

3. Tracking & Notifications

  • Tracking information is sent automatically once an order ships. Please allow several hours for carrier systems to update.
  • Tracking updates are provided directly by the carrier and are outside of our control.
  • Orders fulfilled by multiple vendors may arrive in separate shipments, each with its own tracking number.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided at checkout is accurate and monitored.

4. Shipping Responsibility & Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title transfer to the customer once the order is handed to the shipping carrier.

The Tag Drop, LLC is not responsible for delivery delays, reroutes, service interruptions, or failures caused by carriers, weather events, labor disruptions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Carrier delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by the carrier in writing.

Blind Shipping Notice: Orders are shipped directly from our vendor partners. Packaging may not display The Tag Drop branding and may list the vendor as the return address.

Limitation of Liability: Our responsibility ends upon transfer of the shipment to the carrier. Any claims for delay, loss, theft, or damage must be pursued through the carrier’s claims process. We may assist with claim initiation at our discretion but do not guarantee claim approval or reimbursement.

5. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Shipments

  • Damaged shipments must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and include photos of the packaging, shipping label, and damaged items.
  • Lost or misdelivered shipments must be reported promptly to support@thetagdrop.com.
  • Replacements or credits are issued only after carrier or vendor confirmation of loss or damage.
  • Claims submitted more than seven (7) days after delivery may be denied.
  • If a carrier marks a package as delivered, customers should check with neighbors, property managers, or job sites before filing a claim.

6. Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues

  • Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
  • The Tag Drop, LLC is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional fees caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  • Address changes cannot be made once an order is in transit.
  • Address corrections, reroutes, or reshipments requested after dispatch may incur additional carrier or vendor fees.
  • Packages returned due to address errors will require reshipment at the customer’s expense.

7. Freight Shipments & Oversized Orders

  • Freight deliveries require access for commercial trucks, including 53-foot trailers where applicable.
  • Customers must specify liftgate, appointment delivery, or restricted-access requirements at checkout or during quoting.
  • Additional fees may apply for residential delivery, limited-access locations, or special handling.
  • Freight shipments must be inspected upon delivery. Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported immediately.

8. Force Majeure

The Tag Drop, LLC shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, strikes, supply shortages, government actions, power outages, or system failures.

9. Governing Law & Venue

This Shipping & Fulfillment Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan.
